Rootless vs traditional (rootful) jailbreak: pros and cons

Advantages​

  • System files are read-only, preventing accidental deletion of system files.
  • You can easily use "Erase All Content and Settings" to wipe the device.

Disadvantages​

  • System files are read-only, so packages made for traditional jailbreaks are not compatible.
